Three sci-fi books I believe predict where we are heading:
I, Robot. Isaac Asimov uncannily predicted over 70 years ago how we would chat with AI, and he's likely correct on how it will happen with humanoid robots, too (BTW, the movie adaptations of his novels are bad - I am referring to the book).
The Expanse (book and TV series). James Corey predicts how we'll colonize the solar system and the interplanetary politics that follow. It completely ignores the impact of AI and robotics, though.
Old Man's War. John Scalzi's predictions dive into far-fetched transhumanism, exploring, for example, how we'll likely communicate over TCP/IP or similar protocols (rather than speaking), and how some humans will be genetically engineered and modified to survive and thrive in new environments. After all, legs are useless in 0-gravity!
