Friends don't let friends start a career in customer service. 37-50% drop in job openings since 2022. The most impacted country is Colombia, with ~1,000,000 people working on local and global customer service. Currently, it's the profession with the most applicants per job opening. Within a decade, this sector of the economy will have disappeared, if not earlier. Customer service is now a job for AI entrepreneurs and engineers. That's where the value will be created. And while this is obvious to my readers, most people are still oblivious to this reality. Give them a heads up!
